It all begins when we pick you up at the meeting point and take you on a transfer to the base of Cerro López, covering about 19 miles (30 km) along the Circuito Chico route.
From the base, 4×4 jeeps will take us to the lodge, located at an elevation of 4,134 feet (1,260 metres). During the journey, we will gradually gain altitude above sea level, and the route will continually surprise us with unbeatable views of one of the region's most beautiful forests.
Once at the activity area, after an information and safety briefing, our guide will fit us with snowshoes, and we will begin a 20-minute trek through a snowy lenga forest, where we will experience sensations that will leave a lasting impression.
As we make our way through these pristine landscapes, we will enjoy conversations with our guide, who will tell us about the history of the area and the different species of flora and fauna.
We will reach a viewpoint. After enjoying this unique stop, we will play in the snow on our sledding run, located just behind the lodge.
After lunch (cheese fondue) or a snack (chocolate fondue) and saying our goodbyes, we will return to the 4×4 vehicles to head back to the base, where the transfer vehicles will be waiting to take us back to the city centre.
