What you can expect

Discover the cutting-edge architecture of the 22@/Poblenou area on a 2.5-hour guided walking tour led by a qualified architect or design expert. Uncover the highlights of Barcelona’s new cityscape, from daring civic structures and cultural hubs to urban parks and award winning sustainable projects.
After meeting outside Barcelona’s Design Museum, we walk around the Glories Square; a vast hub that is the city’s last piece of its urbanistic puzzle. Here, we admire the strikingly modern enclosure of Europe’s oldest flea market and get a close-up look at Barcelona’s tallest skyscraper.
Delving deeper into Poblenou on foot, we examine striking new buildings from the best national and international architects. From design hotels, to art galleries, daring offices and co-workings, Poblenou illustrates how a once gritty industrial neighbourhood can rise from the ashes with the help of quality architecture and urban design.
At the end of our walk, we finish up in one of Poblenou’s famous hip cafes or brunch spots. Over a coffee (included in the price of the tour) we discuss what we have seen, answer any questions, and give you loads of tips for self exploration.
