What you can expect

  • Discover the breathtaking beauty and rich heritage of Barbados on this scenic island tour, showcasing many of the spectacular coastal locations that make Barbados the gem of the Caribbean.
Our journey begins in Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our first stop is the Historic Garrison, home to St. Ann's Fort, the first British-built garrison in the West Indies, constructed in 1705. Here you'll learn about the island's fascinating colonial history before continuing along the picturesque south coast.
Travel through the vibrant fishing village of Oistins before arriving at our second stop, Miami Beach, a favourite among both locals and visitors. From there, we continue to Foul Bay, a stunning stretch of coastline where turquoise waters meet a wide, unspoiled beach.
Our next destination is the historic Codrington College, established in 1715 and recognised as the oldest theological college in the Western Hemisphere. Set amidst beautifully landscaped grounds, the impressive limestone buildings overlook towering trees, a tranquil lily pond filled with fish, and ducks gliding peacefully across the water.
Continuing through the parish of St. John and into St. Joseph, we descend into the picturesque village of Bathsheba, renowned for its dramatic rock formations, rugged coastline, and world-class surf. It remains a favourite destination for both local and international surfers.
From Bathsheba, we make a scenic stop at Cherry Tree Hill, one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in Barbados. Lined with majestic mahogany trees, this elevated lookout offers sweeping panoramic views over the island’s east coast and the lush Scotland District below.
After a morning of sightseeing, it's time to experience the authentic flavours of Barbados with a delicious local lunch at the Animal Flower Cave Restaurant, located at the island's northernmost point. Here, the landscape changes dramatically as powerful Atlantic waves crash against towering limestone cliffs, creating one of the island's most spectacular natural settings.
Following lunch, we travel down the scenic West Coast, passing through two of Barbados' oldest and most historic towns—Speightstown and Holetown. Once known as “Little Bristol,” Speightstown served as the island's principal port, while Holetown marks the site of the first British settlement in Barbados.
Before concluding our tour, we'll stop in Speightstown to visit a local bakery, where you'll have the opportunity to sample some of Barbados' delicious traditional treats—the perfect ending to an unforgettable journey around this beautiful island.
