Upon arrival at Bangkok airport, our tour guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Bangkok. Day 2: Bangkok City

Wat Phra Chetuphon Wimon Mangkhalaram Rajwaramahawihan

After breakfast, we visit the Grand Royal Palace, dedicated to the ceremonies of the royal family of Thailand. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha. After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho, a giant house of the Reclining Buddha. Then, we visit Wat Traimit, which is well known as the Golden Buddha.

Chao Phraya River (Pass by)

In the afternoon, board a long-tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offer fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn. Return to the hotel and enjoy your free time for relaxation. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok – Maeklong Railway market – Damnoen Saduak floating market – Jim Thompson House (B)

Early in the morning, we drive southwest of Bangkok, visit the Maeklong railway market, take photos, and enjoy a local snack in the market before driving to Damnoen Saduak, a rural floating market. Stop for a motorboat trip along the waterway to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak. Enjoy your own lunch.

Jim Thompson House (Pass by)

In the afternoon, we will transfer back to Bangkok to visit Jim Thompson House, in the heart of Bangkok’s city centre: start by learning the storey of the American businessman and traveller, who made it his life’s work to bring Thai silks to the world’s fashion houses, and then explore his remarkable home. This is one of the best places in Bangkok to see traditional Thai teak homes, as Thompson assembled his using historic houses shipped to Bangkok from around the country. Find out what is known — and what remains a mystery — about Thompson’s 1967 disappearance in the Malaysian jungle, then explore the collection of art that he assembled during 25 years in Thailand.
