Take a walk along the Tagore Sétány promenade, named in honour of Rabindranath Tagore, the Bengali polymath who was treated in Lake Balaton in 1926. Go to the Kossuth Thermal Spring at the State Hospital of Cardiology that put Balatonfüred on the map.
Tihany peninsula is on the tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage. The scenic beauty is breathtaking.
