What you can expect

  • The sightseeing tour starts at 3:30 p.m. within the perimeter of the historic centre of the main square (colonial mansions and churches: Boza y Solís and/or Castilla y Zamora; the façade of the Cathedral and the Church of San Agustín); and a visit to the Joaquín López Antay or Andrés Avelino Cáceres Museum; an artisan area (Huamanga stone carving, looms, and retablos); and the Acuchimay Vantage Point for a panoramic view of the city of Huamanga. The sightseeing tour ends at 7:00 pm in Plaza de Armas itself.
