The Roofless AI Experience is the next chapter of The Roofless Experience, our premium small-group stargazing tour and one of the highest-rated in San Pedro de Atacama. We kept everything travellers love and added something new: you can ask the universe your own questions and get the answer on the spot.
Your guide is Jhonatan, an astrotourism specialist and official ACEAP 2026 Ambassador, together with our team. He welcomes you, aims the telescopes, reads the group and makes sure no one is left without an answer or a turn at the eyepiece. Travellers describe him as passionate, patient and warm, and many call this night the highlight of their trip to Chile.
Meet Vera, our virtual guide
While the motorised telescopes point to each object, Vera tells you what you are seeing. Then she hands you the microphone: ask anything. How far away is Andromed? Why do stars twinkle? Vera answers in English on shared tours, and in English, Spanish or Portuguese on private tours. She also adjusts to your level, from your very first time at a telescope to advanced questions. Her answers come from an astronomy knowledge base selected and reviewed by our team. Because everyone listens, one question sparks the next and the night becomes a shared conversation.
The AI does not replace the guide, it amplifies him. Vera feeds each person's curiosity; Jhonatan brings the warmth, the expertise and the final moment under the stars.
