Learn how Azeitão cheese handmade process it's done. From the heating of raw milk of the sheep grazed on the slopes of Arrábida mountain, infusion of Cardo (essential for the process of the coagulation), chambers, Washing to finally. . . Consumption!

Using the traditional methods of tile making from the 17th century, this small factory's preserve the artisanal legacy. This are the heirs of a rich past based on ceramic tradition.

Time to paint your own tile!

This family own winery stays between the mountains and the Atlantic sea. A natural beauty developed in pure harmony with mankind and in full respect with nature. A moment where you can relax while tasting the fantastic wines carefully selected by me.

Activity itinerary

Azeitao
  • 8h
- Crossing one of Lisbon's bridges to the south, our first stop will be at an artisanal factory producing the famous Azeitão cheese (1h30). - Then we continue to a small factory of traditional Portuguese tiles (1h30). - Free time for lunch in the cosy village of Azeitão (lunch not included in tour price). - We end our day at a family-run winery (1h) before heading back to Lisbon again. The distances between the places we visit are short and I will always be there. Tour can be customised upon request.
