Colca Canyon + Flight of the Condor + Thermal Baths
After coordination with the passenger we will arrange a pick up time at your hotel in the morning.
After a journey of approx. 3 hours we will arrive in Chivay where we will have breakfast and instructions from the guide to get to the Mirador de la Cruz del Condor.
45 minutes more in transport and we will arrive to the main point where we will be able to observe the marvellous and deep canyon.
We will stay 1.5 hrs. approx. to take pictures appreciating the splendour of the Condor; female, male, young and adult condors, all explained by the guide.
We will return visiting natural viewpoints and tasting the Sancayo ice cream.
We will make a stop for those who wish to enter the thermal baths or go ziplining or hiking in the surroundings, filling themselves with the magic of the valley. This stop will take about 1 hour.
Then we will have time for lunch.
We will start our return trip to Arequipa, but not before stopping at attractive points along the way such as the viewpoint of Patapampa, where there are thaws, as well as a wonderful view of snow-capped mountains and many volcanoes surrounding the city of Arequipa.
We will stop in a part of the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca to observe camelids in their different varieties and the environment that surrounds them.
Finally we will visit Patahuasi, where you can have a coca tea or buy some handicrafts. You will also be able to appreciate the back side of Misti, contemplating its great height and fullness of image. The front part of Misti is already known in the same city when we return.
We finish the tour in the Historic Centre of the city a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas.
Return time approx. between 5:30 pm. and 6:00 pm.
