Please meet your guide at the tour start time, which will be arranged according to your ship’s arrival. From there, you will set off for an unforgettable journey through history.
Your first stop is Ephesus Ancient City — an extraordinary archaeological treasure and one of the best-preserved classical cities in the Eastern Mediterranean. In the 1st century AD, Ephesus was the second-largest city in the world after Rome, with a population exceeding 250,000. As a vital gateway between East and West, it stood at the heart of the ancient world. Today, as you walk along its marble streets, you will be surrounded by remarkable landmarks such as the grand Library of Celsus and the massive Great Theatre — offering a true sense of stepping back in time.
Next, you will visit House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred house believed to be where Mary spent her final days. Recognised by the Church as her last residence, it is also associated with the Assumption, commemorated each year on August 15.
Your final stop will be Temple of Artemis, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. This magnificent temple, dedicated to Artemis, drew pilgrims from across the ancient world and played a key role in making Ephesus a major spiritual centre.
At the end of the tour, you will be comfortably driven back to Kusadasi Port, completing a day rich in history, culture, and unforgettable experiences.
