This helicopter tour covers over 30 miles and shows off everything our shorter tour covers plus gives you great views of select ancient ruins by taking you into Boynton and Long canyons. We slow the helicopter down and get up close to these incredible sites! Just imagine how the people who built them must have had to live! Cathedral Rock (Pass by)
Cathedral Rock is a natural sandstone butte near Sedona, Arizona, and one of the most-photographed sights in Arizona, United States. The rock formation is located in the Coconino National Forest in Yavapai County, about 1 mi (1.6 km) west of Arizona Route 179, and about 2.5 mi (4.0 km) south of the "Y" crossroads of State Routes 179 and 89A in uptown Sedona. The summit elevation of Cathedral Rock is 4,967 ft (1,514 m).
Bell Rock (Pass by)
Bell Rock is a butte just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, United States, south of Sedona in Yavapai County. With an elevation at its summit of 4,919 feet (1,499 m), it is just west of Courthouse Butte. Its panoramic views make it a popular landmark and tourist attraction.
Courthouse Butte Loop Trail (Pass by)
Courthouse Butte is a butte just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, United States, south of Sedona in Yavapai County. Summit elevation is 5,454 feet (1,662 m). It is just east of Bell Rock.
Chapel of the Holy Cross (Pass by)
The Chapel of the Holy Cross is a Roman Catholic chapel built from 1954 to 1956 into the red rock buttes of Sedona, Arizona, within the Coconino National Forest. It was inspired and commissioned by local rancher and sculptor Marguerite Brunswig Staude, and was designed by August K. Strotz of the firm of Anshen & Allen, with Richard Hein of the firm as the project architect. The chapel is under the auspices of the episcopal see of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix and its ministry is conducted by St. John Vianney Parish, Sedona.

Thunder Mountain Trailhead (Pass by)
Thunder Mountain is located three miles immediately northwest of Sedona in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain Wilderness, on land managed by Coconino National Forest. The nearest higher neighbour is Lost Wilson Mountain 3.1 miles (5 km) to the north-northeast. Precipitation runoff from this feature drains to Oak Creek which is part of the Verde River watershed. Topographic relief is significant as the summit rises over 1,700 feet (518 metres) above West Sedona in 0.6 mile (1 km). Capitol Butte is composed of light-colored Coconino Sandstone overlaying reddish Schnebly Hill Formation.
Devil's Bridge Trail (Pass by)
Devil's Bridge hike is a moderately easy hike that spans around 4.6 miles return from the car park, or around 2 miles with an 4x4 vehicle if you drive via Dry Creek Road. You also begin the hike at the Mescal Trailhead (4.2 miles). There are a few challenging sections, particularly the final approach to Devil's Bridge. The final leg involves a steep incline and a narrow rock ledge but the reward is extraordinary!

Long Canyon Trail (Pass by)
Long Canyon Trail provides easy access into Sedona's scenic red rock backcountry. For the first mile or so, the route follows an old jeep trail up an ephemeral streambed. Though this drainage is usually dry, it still supports a community of riparian or water-loving vegetation. Along the trail you'll even find a number of cypress trees, Arizona cypress, which are easily recognisable by their shaggy bark and round, gum ball-size seeds.
Boynton Canyon Trail (Pass by)
The trail starts out by skirting a luxury resort that was recently built here. It quickly returns to the canyon floor where the walking is pleasant and easy. As you hike, take note of the variety of plants that live in this rather harsh environment, and keep an eye out for the area's plentiful wildlife which includes everything from colourful songbirds to bristling, shy whitetail deer.
