We will fist visit Ancient Rome, from the Via dei Fori Imperiali where the impressive Forum is located, to the Colosseum(from outside), the Circus Maximus and the Baths of Caracalla. Archaeological remains can also be spotted all over the Eternal City, in the least expected places, and many can be discovered beneath the modern city of Rome.

The day continues to the Baroque Rome to see the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and to have some free time for strolling and lunch.
Vatican Museums

Your driver would then bring you to the Vatican City to meet up with the authorised English speaking guide to start the private tour of the Vatican Museums with magnificent works of art including the Sistine Chapel with its famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo and the St. Peter's Basilica (the largest Christian church in the world, and an architectural achievement of the Renaissance and Baroque). Please be aware that in case of special events it will be not possible to visit the inside of St. Peter's Basilica.
