Learn the history and watch workers build the indigenous people's Ulu knife. This knife has been used for fileting salmon and processing game animals for thousands of years. You can select from many beautifully handcrafted styles of Ulu's to take home with you or give as gifts. These knives can be used in your own kitchen for cutting and chopping everyday foods.
Ship Creek (Pass by)
You'll see a Salmon creek right in city centre Anchorage where several species of Salmon swim upstream to spawn. In the peak of the summer Salmon run you'll see anglers trying their luck at landing these tasty fish.

See the Eisenhower statehood monument, Alaska became the 49th state when he was president in 1959
