What you can expect

The course can be completed in 2 days and includes 1 academic session, 1 pool/confined water session (max 5m deep), and 1 open water session (max 12m deep) from a boat.

Once completed, the Basic Diver programme allows you to dive under the direct supervision of an SSI professional to the maximum depth of 12 metres / 40 feet for the next 6 months. For those next 6 months the academic and in water sessions can also be credited towards the SSI Scuba diver or Open Water Diver certification programmes to make the next step in your diving adventure even easier.
