DAY 1 First up a spectacular drive deep into magnificent Maasai country. Here we’re met by Maasai village elder Daniel and your Maasai immersion begins. Ultimate Eco-Tour With Village Elder Daniel As you join the Maasai on their daily cattle drive, Daniel will explain how they manage their precious land, as their ancestors have done for centuries. We’ll then explore the wonders and magic of the landscape as Daniel introduces you to native herbs and ancient medicines that have helped the Maasai survive. Maasai Warriors Share Skills & Insights Over a cup of tea, Maasai warriors share cultural insights with you, including explaining family structures in Maasai society. They’ll also show you how to throw a spear and climb an acacia tree in mere seconds! Manyatta Building With Maasai Women After time with the warriors, we join the women to help them lay the foundations and weave the frame for a new manyatta. One Horizon Team Dinner We always have a lot of fun at dinner and it’s a great opportunity to download all your questions from your day with the Maasai and prepare for tomorrow’s venture back to Maasai country.
Day 2: Day 2 - This amazing day will lead you to be inducted as an honorary Maasai

DAY 2 Again we stroll down the valley with the Maasai, but this time we join in the fun of the welcome – learning to dance Masai-style! Learn How To Dance Like The Maasai Maasai warrior Risa will lead you in a Maasai dance class and the whole village gets involved. It’s a lot of fun, also a little energetic so you’ll be ready for what’s next – a traditional Maasai lunch. Learn How To Cook Like The Maasai Over song and shared stories the Maasai women share their recipes and you’re welcome to help them prepare the meal – they have a way with the herbs from the valley you explored yesterday morning and we think you’ll find the lunch you prepare together is simply delicious. More Manyatta Building Then it’s back to yesterday’s manyatta building – today you’ll join the villagers as they clad the frame with mud. The reward for your efforts is the satisfaction of standing shoulder to shoulder with them and playing your part in creating a new home for a Maasai family. Make Maasai Jewellery Jewellery making is the last item on your All Things Maasai agenda. It brings more stories and more cultural exchange as the Maasai guide you in making your own bracelet, headpiece or necklace to take away as a special memento of your time spent with them.
