What you can expect

Meander your way up through the pine forest to the architectural beauty of Aphaia temple. Then make your way through the island, passing an officially recognised traditional settlements, whilst appreciating the aromas and unique scenery of the island.

Visit the imposing Agios Nektarios cathedral dedicated to our patron saint. People come all over the world to visit this which makes it one of the most visited sites on Aegina is the church of Agios Nektarios (Saint Nectarios) and the monastery of Agia Triada (The Holy Trinity). Enjoy this stunning, impressive building and views.

Stroll around Palechora (meaning “Old Town”) is Aegina's version of Mystras! This medieval village was built in the 9th century and it was the capital of the island until 1826.

We will also see a beautiful Ancient Greek temple (540 BC) located within a sanctuary complex dedicated to the goddess Aphaia. This area has been a place of worship since prehistoric times (1300 B.C.)!
