Arrive at the village of Lichtenberg and park in the free car park on Place de l'Église, then walk to the castle via the secure pedestrian path (allow about 15 minutes for the walk, with a gradual climb). On arrival, go to the front desk and the ticket desk, then start your self-guided tour. Explore the circuit at your own pace: take your time to explore the indoor exhibition areas, follow the tour route, and stop at the various vantage points to enjoy the panoramas. Depending on your preference, take a break at the cafeteria (last service 30 minutes before closing) or stop by the shop before leaving. For a relaxed visit, note that the last access to the château is 1 hour before closing time, and allow about 2 hours on site to fully enjoy the location.
