Commence your tour of Tashkent from the Old City area. Explore Khast Imam, a revered architectural complex and Tashkent's religious hub, where the renowned Uthman Quran is kept. Barak-Khan Madrasah, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Muyi Muborak Madrasah, Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, New Khazrati Imam Mosque, and the Muftiate building make up the Khast Imam complex. Go to Chorsu Bazaar by car. Visit the State Museum of Applied Art after perusing the bazaar to view exquisite examples of applied art produced by masters from the first half of the 1800s to the present. Take a quick metro ride in Tashkent.

A little pause at the summit of the mountain pass. Some native dried fruits can be purchased at a small market. 11:15 Get to Shakhrisabz.
