What you can expect
The Everest Panorama Trek, also known as the Everest View Trek, is one of the best short treks in the Khumbu region of Nepal. This relatively easy and magnificent trek leads to Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the famous Tengboche Monastery and Mount Everest. Tengboche Monastery is the largest in the Khumbu district. The trek follows a path to Tengboche Monastery (3,860 m) via Lukla and Namche Bazaar. It offers stunning views of the world's highest snow-capped peaks, including Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,855 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt.
Amadablam (6,812 m), and many others from high trails.
The trek begins in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, with a flight to Lukla Airport, also known as Tenzing Hillary Airport. The trekking journey starts from the picturesque village of Lukla. As we trek through diverse landscapes and cross several suspension bridges, we arrive at Namche Bazaar, a large Sherpa settlement and the gateway to the Everest region. The trek passes through Sagarmatha National Park, home to various rare flora and fauna. From Tengboche, the trail offers breathtaking 360° views of the magnificent Everest panorama. Highlights of the 10-day Everest Panorama Trek include Buddhist monasteries (including the oldest monastery in the Khumbu region at Tengboche), suspension bridges, rhododendron and pine forests, glacial valleys, Sherpa settlements, and Namche Bazaar, a Himalayan village featuring modern amenities.
