Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Camp
Rainforest Trekking and Acclimatisation
Start your journey with a pick-up from your Moshi hotel. Enjoy a scenic drive to Marangu Gate, complete park formalities, and meet your porters. Trek through dense rainforests, spotting monkeys and colourful birds as you make your way to Mandara Hut for your first overnight stay.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Ascending through Alpine Moorland
After breakfast, continue to Horombo Hut, traversing beautiful heather and moorland. Enjoy stunning views of Kilimanjaro and unique flora like giant lobelias. Arrive at Horombo Hut, at about 3,720 metres, to acclimatise and rest.

Day 3: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Final Push to High Camp
Trek to Kibo Hut, the last stop before the summit. Navigate the lunar landscape of the saddle, passing the Saddle Hut. At 4,703 metres, prepare for the summit attempt while resting and refuelling.

Day 4: Summit Day to Horombo
Uhuru Peak Conquest
Set off early for your summit push under the stars. Ascend to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, witnessing a breathtaking sunrise over the African plains. Celebrate your achievement, then descend to Kibo Hut for a brief rest before heading back to Horombo Hut.

Day 5: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
Final Descent and Celebration
Descend from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate, reflecting on your journey. Enjoy the lush scenery of moorlands and rainforests as you make your way down. Arrive at Marangu Gate to a warm welcome and receive your Kilimanjaro summit certificate. Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha, reminiscing about your unforgettable trek.
