Overview

Our tours are lead by a small local family owned business with over 20 years of experience in the field. This is not your ordinary tour. We crafted this experience as if we were going on it. We believe in quality over quantity; our groups are small not to exceed 13. We want to deliver more than what you dreamed of. By coming with us you will support many small Kauai owned businesses.

This excursion is a perfect mix of beautiful natural sites, history & local foods. We call it short and sweet. You don't want to spend all day on a tour? You don't want to be stuck in a big bus with too many people? and you want to take the day off from driving, then this is the your for you. We will visit waterfalls, a beautiful beach park, a local bakery, archaeological sites, and a secret ocean scenic overlook. Lunch will be in Kapaa town, where you can choose from food trucks to restaurants.

Activity itinerary

Kukui Grove

We will meet all our travellers by the Kauai Bakery. It is time to set the mood right for the day with an introduction to the legendary Portuguese doughnuts known as malasadas. Get ready for a delicious sweet treat. Coffee and other savoury treats are also available for purchase. Please arrive at 8:00am so you have time to enjoy some coffee and pastries before the start of the tour.
Menehune Fish Pond

This is no ordinary pond, it is a jurassic size pond built in ancient times by the first inhabitants of Hawaii, the people from the Marquesas Islands. Marvel at the beautiful surroundings as we drive you through the Kipu Kai area. Learn about the fascinating legend of the Menehunes, the archaeological and cultural importance of the pond. Many Hollywood films have been filmed in this area. We will stop in two areas to take many pictures.
Wailua Falls

Last but not least is time to visit one more waterfall, because you can't never have enough waterfalls. Iconic Wailua Falls was featured on the opening scene of the Fantasy Island Tv show. You will have plenty of time for pictures. The perfect closure for a tour.
Lydgate State Park

Time to take a stroll down the path by the beautiful Lydgate Beach Park, where you can soak your feet in the famous Morgan Ponds, learn about the ancient temple of worship were Hawaiians greeted the rising sun daily, the city of refuge, and more. This is a leisure walk for all age groups. you will have many picture opportunities.
Opaekaa Falls

At this stop you will walk to visit two sites, Opaekaa Falls and the Wailua River lookout, located in Wailua town where the Hawaiian royalty lived in ancient times. Beautiful views and many picture ops await for you here.
Poli'ahu Heiau

Heiaus are ancient Hawaiian temples of worship. Set high atop the mountains, Poliahu offers magnificent views of the ocean and the Wailua River. Your guide will share fascinating stories about Hawaiian history and culture, and maybe feed the feral chickens while we are at it.
Kapaa

Lunch location will be announced on the day of the tour. It will depend on the weather. If it's sunny we will take you to city centre Kapaa where you will have many food choices from food trucks to local markets and restaurants. If it's rainy we will eat at Lava Lava Beach Club. Either way, we are sure you will love it!
