The Bund (Wai Tan)

Make your own choice of the tour start time between 8:00am to 8:00pm, and hop on your private vehicle with your professional guide from your centrally located city hotel to The Bund (Wai Tan) directly. Upon arrival, follow your guide's step and listen the interesting history and stories about the "Bund International Architecture Exhibition", including Peace Hotel (Heping Fandian), Shanghai Customs House, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (formerly the HSBC Building), and many other historical buildings along the west side of the Huangpu River. Looking towards the east direction (Pudong), it's the financial district "Lujiazui", where you can see many stunning skyscrapers, such as Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Centre and Jinmao Tower in the area. Your guide will share with you the China's Open Door Policy under chairman Deng Xiaoping's legacy, and it surely helps you to understand the huge economic impact to the people, the city and the country.
