You will be picked up by a professional driver from the airport or from your hotel in Amman to Madaba, visit St. George church (the map church), where you will see the world's oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land!

This Church is a Latin Catholic Church, it is the oldest church which the religious rituals still held in it since it was built until this now direct. Contains numerous paintings, frescoes and sculptures depicting the life of John the Baptist ( Yahya ). It also contains an acropolis consisting of ancient basements and an old Moabi well and several ancient monuments under the church, which were once used as a temple, a school and a home for the priest. The church also follows the Latin school. The monastery visitor centre contains a replica of a Byzantine mosaic floor found in Umm al-Rasas. you will be able also to go up to the tower bell and see a view for the city of Madaba plus a chance to go below the church to the the castle which this church was built on!

After you finish your Madaba visit, our driver will take you to Mount Nebo, where you will have the chance to see another panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and parts of the Holy Land before heading down towards the lowest point on earth, Dead Sea!
