Explore a variety of wonderful attractions from elephant camp to different hill tribes in this package. The first day is a visit to Lahu Village, where the simple ways of life of the locals can be seen. The following days is a combination of fun and exciting activities like trekking, mountain biking, rubber rafting and a visit to a waterfall.
Day 1: Chiang Mai – Trekking Lahu village (L/D)
08:30 AM: pick you up from your hotel in Chiang Mai and after a one-hour drive to a domestic market we spend 25 minutes gathering provisions for the tour. After lunch, trekking to Karen hill tribe at an altitude of about 1,400 metres above sea level. Late evening, go around the village and enjoy the evening scene of the surrounding mountains. Overnight at home-stay.
Day 2: Lahu village - Jungle trekking (B/L/D)
Morning, trekking through the beautiful nature and along with rice fields for about three hours to visit the small elephant family living with a Lahu tribe in the jungles. After your meeting with the elephants, we will continue our way to bring you to your next destination: the mountain village. Here you might want to take a swim in the shallow river, take a shower and sit on the large deck above the river. Overnight at home-stay.
Day 3: Lahu village –Shan village - Chiang Mai (B/L)
Morning raft your bamboo along the river for about 2-3 hours from the Lahu village along the Mae Tang River towards a Shan village. Once we reach the Shan village, you can refresh yourself and will then again experience an authentic Thai cuisine lunch. From here we will leave the rain forest and drive back to Chiang Mai in our lorry. The arrival in Chiang Mai will be approx. 5:00 PM.
