• El Jem: Amphitheatre entrance is not included (approx. €7/person, payable on site). Entry is optional.

  Day 1 – El Jem • Matmata • Tamezret • Sahara Camp
  Travel south to El Jem, home to one of the world’s best-preserved Roman amphitheatres and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  Continue to Matmata, famous for its underground Berber homes, lunar landscapes and Star Wars heritage. Visit a traditional troglodyte house and enjoy lunch.
  Pass through Tamezret, a traditional Berber mountain village overlooking the desert, before reaching Dunes Insolites Desert Camp in Sabria.
  Settle into your tent and enjoy the Sahara sunset. Try free sandboarding or choose optional camel riding, quad biking or a 4x4 dunes experience.
  In the evening, discover Saharan traditions with a Mella sand-bread demonstration, folkloric entertainment and equestrian show. Enjoy a traditional dinner, campfire and, when conditions allow, free stargazing with our telescope.
  Spend the night in an authentic Sahara tent.
  Day 2 – Chott El Jerid • Chebika Oasis • Kairouan
  After breakfast, cross Chott El Jerid, Tunisia’s spectacular salt lake, known for its vast landscapes and desert mirages.
  Continue to Chebika Mountain Oasis. Explore its palm grove, natural spring, canyon and waterfall surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.
  After lunch, travel north and stop in Kairouan, a UNESCO World Heritage city, before returning to your selected destination in the evening.
  In just 2 days, experience some of southern Tunisia’s highlights: El Jem, Matmata, Berber culture, the Sahara Desert, an authentic desert camp, Chott El Jerid, Chebika and Kairouan.
