Then, join a shared Bush Safari and elephant experience in a 4x4 open safari vehicle at Buffelsdrift. Overnight at Chandelier Game Lodge and wake up to a Giraffe experience and an Ostrich Tour. End off your tour with an exciting Big 5 Safari Game Drive in an open 4x4 safari game lorry at Botlierskop and take a drive off the beaten track, before returning to Cape Town.

Pick up will commence between 06:00 and 06:30am from your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounds. We will depart Cape Town for Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital of South Africa, located along the Garden Route. We will travel for approximately 5-hours with comfort stops along the way for refreshments and bathrooms.

Upon our arrival in Oudtshoorn we will stop at the Cango Caves for a 1-hour Heritage Tour of these ancient caves. Take a walk through the caves on a guided tour and learn more about one of the biggest attractions along the Garden Route.
Buffelsdrift Game Lodge - Activities

After our Cango Caves experience we will travel for approximately 20 minutes to Buffelsdrift Game Reserve for an Afternoon Safari Experience: 13:30pm: Lunch, 14:00pm: Elephant experience 15:00pm: 4x4 Bush Safari Game Drive. Be on the look out for Hippo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok, and much more.
Chandelier Game Lodge & Ostrich Show Farm

Wake up to the sound of wildlife in the African Bush and enjoy a hearty breakfast at Chandelier restaurant. (We recommend breakfast at 8:00am) From there you will enjoy a morning safari experience: 09:00am: Giraffe experience (30-minutes) 10:00am: Ostrich Tour (1-hour) Thereafter guests will check out from their accommodation and proceed to Botlierskop.
Botlierskop Private Game Reserve

After check out and our morning activities, we will depart Chandelier Game Lodge for Botlierskop Game Reserve. Here we will enjoy lunch and our afternoon Big 5 safari game drive for 3 hours starting at 14:00pm. Enjoy close encounters with Rhinoceros, Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Cheetah, Giraffe, the rare Black Impala, Golden Wildebeest, Mountain Zebra, Hippos and more!
Cape Town Central

At the end of our exciting Big 5 safari game drive experience at Botlierskop, we will depart the Garden Route and return to Cape Town. The travelling duration will be approximately 4 to 4.5 hours drive. Arrival in Cape Town will be approximately 21:00pm.
