Then, you will enjoy picnic lunch at the spectacular waterfall of Tad Xay and take time to go swimming. After that, you will start your trek under an evergreen canopy. After having an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Tad Leuk Waterfall, which is a famous local tourist attraction amidst the mixed deciduous forest. You will receive some good information on the flora and fauna of the national park through a permanent exhibit at the Visitors' Centre. The Tad Leuk Nature Trail points out some amazing botanic details.
After that, you will have lunch at Tad Leuk.
In the afternoon, you will go trekking following a path along the Nam Leuk to the Tad Sang (Elephant Waterfall) waterfall, another stunning place for swimming and relaxation. Along the way, you can spot a large number of orchids, especially in the wet season. From here, you will return to Vientiane by songthaew.
In the wet season, the trek continues to the Houay Xai Stream.
In the dry season, we have to trek further to Nam Mang for our kayaking starting point.
