Upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, you will be met and transferred to Wild Dog Lodge, a peaceful and comfortable stopover conveniently located near the airport. This first day is reserved for rest and recovery after your journey, with no scheduled activities planned. Guests are free to relax at the lodge, enjoy the tranquil surroundings, or unwind by the facilities at their own pace. In the evening, dinner will be served at the lodge’s restaurant and is available at your own cost, allowing you to choose from a variety of freshly prepared meals before settling in for the night and preparing for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Drive to Southern Part of Kafue National Park

The day’s activities include guided morning and afternoon game drives, offering excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife and birdlife in their natural habitat. Between drives, guests can relax at camp and enjoy the peaceful riverside setting. All meals are freshly prepared and included, allowing you to fully focus on the safari experience.

You’ll enjoy both morning and afternoon game drives, exploring open plains, riverbanks, and woodland habitats. Day 5: Morning and Afternoon Game Drive

After returning for breakfast and some time to relax, you will head out again in the afternoon for another exciting game drive. As temperatures cool, animals become more active, often gathering near water sources. Day 7: Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park & Sunset Game Drive

This evening drive offers excellent chances to see elephants, buffalo, antelope, and predators as they become active in the cooler hours, with the added magic of golden light reflecting off the Zambezi.
