Your day trip to Mikumi National Park begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by our professional driver-guide at 4:30 AM. You will embark on a scenic 5-hour drive to the park, passing through charming villages and the Uluguru Mountains. Upon arrival around 9:30 AM, you will begin an exciting game drive, exploring Mikumi’s diverse landscapes and spotting a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, hippos, and numerous bird species. Around midday, you will take a break for a packed bush lunch at a designated picnic site inside the park, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After lunch, the adventure continues with another game drive, covering different areas of the park, such as the famous Mkata Plains, often compared to the Serengeti for its rich wildlife.
