    • In general, JR West Miyajima Ferry will be used on the return between Miyajimaguchi and Miyajima, but if it is not operating, Miyajima Matsudai Kisen will be used
    • The JR West Miyajima Ferry route from Miyajimaguchi to Miyajima will be the Otorii ferry route, which gets closest to the large torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine. Depending on circumstances such as weather and high tide, please note that the Otorii ferry route may not be possible
    • Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is located on the NORTH side of Hiroshima Station (Shinkansen Plaza side). Please be careful not to confuse it with Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate
    • For customers with a Japan Rail Pass travelling to Hiroshima Station, please be sure to board a Shinkansen departing early enough for you to arrive by the meeting time. Customers who do not arrive by the meeting time cannot join the tour. Arriving by 10:00 AM at Hiroshima Station is recommended
    • Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats. If bus seats are required, please make a booking under the child rate
    • Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour

Itsukushima Shrine

A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mt. Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.

Miyajima

Time for lunch is allotted on Miyajima. This region is known for oysters, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and conger eel rice bowl, which are available at many shops on Miyajima. Customers are free to enjoy their preferred meals. Lunch is not included in the tour.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park

Atomic Bomb Dome
