Positives: Clean room, staff friendly, close to ruins and train stations Negatives: Front desk area not always manned but we were given a telephone number to call if we needed anything Seating area small and in need of updating - some of the cushions very dirty and worn Bar - an assortment of half empty bottles behind a counter Room Bed was very hard, air conditioning very noisy, no wardrobe - just a hanging rail Booked a double room but there was a third bed in the room?? Kettle had to be put on the floor to use as no accessible plugs available, kettle leaked 1 biscuit and 3 teabags provided - not added to during the week No complimentary water Bathroom - nowhere to hang anything, shower area narrow Breakfast was served in the basement with minimal ventilation. Very little choice - hard bread and soft cereal, no hot food - definitely not 4*. We only went once as it truly was disgusting We booked this hotel based on reviews on your website and were so disappointed. We have always trusted Expedia and until now have not been let down. The hotel is misrepresented by the photos and reviews. Definitely not like any other 4* hotel we have stayed in.

Bar staff were very rude to our group. We are Americans that were staying on the hotel. Staff waited on all other guests before us.

Nothing to dislike during our stay, pleasant staff, great bed, comfy pillows, excellent room and very clean, lovely breakfast and evening meals in the on site restaurant were good and served quickly.

The hotel has private parking which is quite good for those traveling in rental cars. The room is standard simple and clean. Bathroom is alright, the cubicle doors are a little fiddly but got perfect water pressure. The staff is amazing, friendly and tentative, provided suggestions for dining. We had a delicious seafood dinner at one of the restaurants they recommended nearby!

the front desk attendant was very helpful in helping to direct us to the nearby historic sites and local attractions. Lovely property. Parking was on site and easy to manage. Breakfast included managed by charming and capable captain. I would stay there again if my travels bring me back to the area
