Upon arrival, we were a bit confused because there was no check-in desk. Fortunately, I had cell service and checked my email, where I noticed (only two hours before arrival) we’d been sent the door code. If I hadn’t had service, this would have been a major problem!
Once inside, we noticed areas in the room that had not been cleaned but thankfully the beds were clean. The beds were quite firm, but the kitchen was useful. The room served what were needed.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding care from the Kids Club team —Saki and Kaori. They went above and beyond for our 8-year-old son, creating moments of joy, learning, and connection that he will never forget. From fun activities to teaching him the art of origami, they brought so much warmth and magic to his days. Their kindness and attention made our stay feel deeply special.
The reception team was equally impressive — attentive, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Every interaction felt genuine and gracious.
Six Senses Kyoto is a sanctuary of beauty and calm, but it’s the people who made it truly exceptional. We are grateful for this experience and can’t wait to return.

The room was spotless, the staff are so accomodating and friendly. Again thank you for the effort of lending us a shower chair. The place is not only family friendly but also disability friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon. We had a great stay!!!!
