No furniture in the room other than the bed. No turn down night service. Very basic, although presented as a luxury hotel

Wonderful old world style historic hotel. Iconic architecture with a fabulous bar and restaurant. We grabbed a drink at the bar and had drinks and bites at 8th rule another day. The. Enjoyed dinner at Bourbon that was incredible. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

This is beautiful, nostalgic and historic property. The staff is warm and helpful, and the cookies and champagne were a nice touch. It’s clean but alas, it smells old. Let’s get to the room- I had no view (but you can get great views in the restaurant). The bed was ok (soft sheets, good pillows and nice comforter) but with some divots in the mattress, it was not the perfect sleep I would expect at a luxury property at this price point. Amenities were average. Carpet could use a steam clean. Here are the two big negatives. 1. parking is $43 a day and it’s a hassle- you have to scan a QR code and download an app, upload your info in order to pay for parking- if you have reception. Otherwise, walk around til you find reception and then start over. My suggestion- do away with this third party parking fiasco. 2. Thank you for the room “credit” of $40 a day to cover one order of ONE scrambled egg breakfast which costs...$40. My suggestion would be an $80 food credit. But I guess I paid for the experience of eating said breakfast in a beautiful setting with my lovely husband- and that, I can NOT complain about. It was a nice stay but I’m picky. ;)

Very clean, very nice quiet hotel.

I arrived to the property prior to check in times and informed them that I would be returning late so I wouldn’t be considered a no show. She said that was perfectly fine. They were 24 hours. When I arrive to check in. I stopped at the kiosk for 15 minutes with No assistant. I had to call the number, at least five times in order for them to respond, and even after I waited another 15 minutes until someone was able to help me on the kiosk. Aside from that. The property itself is great very clean and well-maintained.
