San Francisco Waterpark Holidays

Love this place!! But realize…this isn’t a hotel. It’s a Bed & Breakfast…which to me, is so much better!! During the day we had a wonderful lady take care of us. When we woke up she had a wonderful French press coffee for us, made a great breakfast. Provided anything we needed. Our deck was so peaceful in the morning. Waking up, opening up the French doors and listening to the waves. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day! It’s not a restaurant and definitely not a bar. So forget about that. Breakfast was great but beyond that we walked 2 minutes down the beach and found some great ocean side places with all sorts of choices. Pool needs a good cleaning as it’s a bit murky. This place is about absolute peace. It’s our new getaway location when we need to get out of Cebu city. Oh, and my wife’s fav was the big bathtub. Bring some bath salts and enjoy! Or 15 min away are the natural hot springs. Loved it all!

This place had 100+ problems. Overall a wore out broke down condo. It was stinky (bathroom ventilation problems) and thick grey mold growing. Bunch of junk in the wore out old kitchen. Checkin was uncertain till the last minute. I’ll never stay there again.

Nice resort overall. Starting to feel its age a little. Very popular with Korean guests. Great staff. Check in was loooong and tedious and not well organized - I expected more politeness and organization from Dusit Thani; this would be much better handled at the original Dusit Thani in Bangkok. Would I stay here again? Yes for sure: a refuge from the chaos and squalor of Cebu.

Dolphin House is in prime oceanfront location just a stone's throw from White Beach. While my room was basic, the property grounds are beautiful with a picturesque restaurant and bar overlooking the sea. The staff though is what sets Dolphin House apart - so warm, friendly and accommodating! I arrived late after their restaurant and front desk had closed but the kitchen made two huge and delicious sandwiches that they left with the night guard to give to me - sooo nice! Similarly, the next night I got back to the hotel late after a full day of diving and sightseeing and despite the kitchen being closed a half an hour already, the chef made dinner for me. I just wish I could have stayed longer!
