Staying at the Villa Alessandra is strictly okay. The single room is TINY. You have to walk sideways to get around the bed. If you ask for a room with a normal amount of space around the bed there's a surcharge. You can't access the closet easily because of the cramped space. Every time my room was turned over, nobody bothered to bring in another bottle of water. I have never been in a hotel which doesn't give you a bottle of water with every turnover and it's something you have to ask for. Which I had to do, repeatedly with varying results. The next and more serious charge- one day I came back to my room door slightly ajar. I thought somebody was still cleaning, but whoever they were had neglected to safeguard my privacy and my belongings when they didn't bother to do the bare minimum and close the door. As a solo female traveler I didn't enjoy that experience. Finally, although I paid for an AC room the AC never worked. The people at reception "Explained" how it worked but never bothered to come upstairs to try to address the problem where it was. In fact one of them told me to "open a window". I would rate this at 2.5 if I could. Only go here if you can't afford elsewhere.

Ample room for being Paris!!! We walked to the Luvre and Opera. Would recommend it!

Amazing stay everyone working there was so great. Not one complaint. Wish we there longer.

The breakfast was perfect. And the bed was perfect - the pillows were flaeless.

Unique accommodations that were perfect down to every detail. Close. Close proximity to everything and very accommodating, friendly stuff!

EXCELLENT!! Ideal location! Clean! Friendly staff! Upscale, safe, and comfortable. All staff speak English as well, which I appreciated.

Beautiful hotel and the staff was probably the most attentive and friendly of anywhere we stayed in Paris. They really make you feel like VIP guests and take extra care to make sure your every wish is fulfilled. Would definitely stay here again
