We stayed here because of a discount offered to us. There are currently two large areas closed off for construction. They're upgrading the areas. The hotel room was better than average. We'll maintained and overall clean. However, we did think an A/C vent in the shower was quite odd. We didn't actually see a camera though. Also, charging a $40 resort fee is far too high when the pool closes at 7 pm and there are really no other options offered that make a resort. Such as a spa or any evening fun and entertainment. The fee is paid at the gaming tables. If youre a night owl, the brass fork has cheap breakfast starting at 11 pm. Otherwise, it averages $15 a plate. I would stay here again if I didn't have to pay a resort fee for a place that is not a resort.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to Mandalay Bay so I didn’t know what to expect. I was there when it first opened. The rooms are clean. The casino was clean. Pools are very nice. Everything in Vegas is expensive so bring a large drink budget if that’s your thing. I did try to get a workout in while I was there and the equipment is limited. Overall great atmosphere with some good restaurants and lounges.

"The rooms were very large and nice with separate living room, bedroom and even small kitchen. We loved the view of the lake and London Bridge. Our room was conveniently located by the laundry so we took advantage of that feature. Pools were fun and convenient."
