A great hotel choice close to the airport and very friendly staff and nicely appointed rooms

Very central place to stay

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were very spacious and clean with lovely decor. The location was great within walking distance to everything. The staff at the front desk were all very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if in Christchurch.

There was a small glitch on checking in due to our room not being ready at the nominated time. An apology from the Manager was given the following morning along with a free bottle of wine. Thank you very much. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable. Bed was great and there was a washer and dryer. Kitchen was well equipped. Parking was excellent! An allocated space for each apartment and it was also undercover and secure as was entry into the building. Some nice places to eat within walking distance and there is a hop-on hop-off tram stop very near to the apartment building. Would stay again without hesitation.

We are very happy to stay here. The service was outstanding. Th e staffs were warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We arrived quite early and asked about early check-in, and the front desk kindly accommodated us, which we really appreciated. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the location was excellent. Breakfast was another highlight, with great quality and lovely service.

The staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional, which made a real difference to our stay. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of variety and more than enough to choose from. The room and bed were modern, clean, and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised overall and would highly recommend staying here. If there were a six-star rating, Sudima Christchurch City would absolutely deserve it.

Fantastic place. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with living room (2 sofas) and full kitchen. Washing machine and a drier. A patio with chairs and table, big bathroom, great shower, heated towel rail. Views from main bedroom and living room to the mountains and lake. Netflix on the large TV. This was a perfect stop off on a long road trip of the South Island. Wish we’d had more than just 2 nights here. Can’t believe what great value this was. We had a ground floor room so you do get a little noise from above (didn’t affect us) but you can request a 2nd floor apartment. I’d definitely recommend it, so much space and everything looked new. Great staff too. Wanaka is a nice little town. Eat at Big Fig for super fresh cooked food.

Great location, right one the water. Clean, comfortable, access to a pool and hot tub and laundry. Definitely recommend.
