Sigma Island Waterpark Holidays

Parking was $40 per night, and across the street. Location and price was excellent for proximity from shops. The room was clean, but too clean where the odor of cleaning chemicals lingered for 3 days and we were not able to get rid of it. So strong that even our cloths had picked up the smell! Also, too much air-freshener being used in the hotel. But our biggest gripe is the lighting in the hallways, the room and in the bathroom. Extremally poorly placed lighting and not enough lights in the room or bathroom to be able to put makeup on - even with the curtains open. 40% of shower head was clogged, had a really hard time showering. A removable shower head would have been a big plus, but didn't have one. And lastly, placement of sink and sink height was a minor inconvenience. With just very small improvements this hotel could easily be a 4.5-star stay. Final conclusion: Would I stay here again? No. Would I stay here again if the above issues were addressed? Yes.

Property and staff was wonderful. Love where hotel is situated with easy Access to all NYC experiences.

Great location and a fine property that is well-managed. We had enough room in our room for three, with one on the fold-out couch.

If I could rate the Knickerbocker higher than 10, I would. It had an excellent location in Times Square. (It was just a short walk to the theater.) It was also right next to a subway station. From the moment we checked in, the service was excellent, including seats to sit down while checking in. Because it was a special occasion (my birthday), they upgraded our room and sent me a large piece of birthday cake from room service. It was seriously the best cake I have ever had! They also explained the changes in the subway system since I was unaware. These extras were above and beyond. The room was spacious and modern and the bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. One of the best things about the hotel was the rooftop bar and restaurant. It was stylish with a wrap-around terrace and lush walls full of greenery and flowers. You could see the New Year's Eve ball from there, which was much smaller than depicted on TV. I have to also mention that the entire personnel was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed!

The room was horrible !! The bed was so thin and the blinds were terrible all beat up with holes. The noise from the street was so loud. The bathroom was literally like showering on the street!!! I would never stay there and we left during the night!!! Horrible stay! Do not waste any money here! They cheated some few per day that I’m trying to dispute. !!! We didn’t charge anything we didn’t even stay for 24 hours

Unfortunately, this place really needs to be renovated. The rooms were run down and our experience was not good- ended up wanting to cancel our stay after a difficult check in experience.

The Leef was so cute. Very clean. Super comfy bed. AC worked well which was a blessing on a 100 degree day. The TV is mounted on the wall and swings out in a really nifty way. It was alao nice a quiet. The check in process with the lobby person on a screen was really interesting. Different but it worked well. And I 😘 bed the code for the door instead of a key. No key to lose! I would stay here again in a heartbeat
