The staff

This is a very family friendly property. It is calm, quiet, and not much is going on. This is the first time I stay at Solaris resorts and I have to say I was disappointed by the lack of transparency. They are huge on their “members” and push their timeshare situations from the moment you check-in. I have stayed at the RIU 10 times before this trip and have never had this happen. I understand being a member is important to the community of these hotels, but I wish Expedia or Solaris listing would have been honest about this. It makes no sense to pay 3,400 for 6 nights and arrive at a hotel where you can’t access certain pools, certain seats, and certain restaurants. If you pay for an all inclusive, you should be able to access everything at the property????? It was so strange and not a good experience. Both Expedia and the hotel should be transparent about this before people book. Aside from that, the food was terrible. Breakfast was always awful, the restaurants in the evenings were good. The staff was very friendly and kind. The hotel area was so ideal for families.
