Beautiful old building full of character. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in their restaurant and it was well seasoned and yummy.

We arrived at 5:50pm on a Sunday, having contacted reception by phone, because reception closes at 6:00pm on a Sunday.
In our room:
1. There was only half a roll of toilet paper and because it was after 6pm, reception was closed;
2. The room lighting was inadequate. It was very dark, particularly (but not only) over the kitchenette area;
3. When we arrived, the room was very cold. After a while the heating worked, but why couldn’t this have been turned on after we rang?
4. The bathroom had no heating at all.
On the positive side:
1. We had requested a fragrance free room, and this was provided;
2. Location was very good;
3. Room was a good size;
4. Power points well located;
5. Housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly;
6. There were biscuits with tea & coffee…thanks;
7. Undercover parking very good.
