9/10 Wonderful! (2,071 reviews)
Comprehensive review of Swandor hotel topkapi
Swandor hotel is overall on okay place to stay, if your getting a great deal, go for it, but if your paying top dollar. I’d find a different option,
Let’s start with food
Overnight mini buffet,
Really hit or miss, some nights it’s fantastic food and tasty, some nights it’s inedible and you only have one or two items that actually taste good. And the rest is leftovers from the buffet,
Buffet
The buffet is also a 7/10
Food is sometimes fantastic , the doner particularly is very very good, although sometimes there isn’t enough for the amount of guests there, and even though there is more meat on the machine, the cook packs it up exactly at 9, and doesn’t accommodate,
Otherwise sometimes the food options get a bit repetitive, but with a big selection it makes it slightly easier,
Overall a good buffet especially when compared to Cuba or Dominican Republic buffets, but room for improvement mainly in staff attitude and quantity of quality foods, plenty of regular stuff, but the good stuff was limited
A la carte
The a la carte restaurant was our favorite, the service, the food, the entire experience was absolutely 10/10, we went twice, and the quality of food and meat was incredible, better than what we found off resort aswell, defiantly recommend
Rooms
This is where I have my biggest problem,
The first 4 nights my room had a leaking shower door, it would leak so bad we had a pond on the bathroom floor, despite multipl

9.6/10 Exceptional! (1,081 reviews)
I stayed at this hotel recently, and my experience was fairly average overall. While I didn’t have access to the full range of facilities, the stay was all-inclusive, which was a nice perk in theory.
The main highlight was the buffet restaurant, since it was essentially the only amenity available to me. The food selection was decent—there was enough variety to keep things interesting for a couple of days, and most dishes were fresh and well-presented. However, the quality was somewhat inconsistent; some meals were enjoyable, while others felt a bit bland or repetitive. The staff in the restaurant were polite and efficient, which made the dining experience more pleasant.
On the downside, having access limited primarily to the buffet made the overall stay feel a bit restricted. An all-inclusive experience usually comes with more options for dining and activities, so it didn’t quite live up to expectations in that sense.
In summary, it was an okay stay. The buffet was satisfactory and the service was good, but the limited access to other facilities made it feel less like a full all-inclusive experience.

8.4/10 Very Good! (509 reviews)
We enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the food. Don’t get me wrong there were plenty of options. The only issue was we found it bland and it lacked depth of flavour. The lemon cheese cake for instance didn’t have the correct texture and no lemon flavour (some sort of jelly on top). The Indian cuisine seemed like a token gesture and there was no option to add flavour i.e. sauces, spices.
