Exceptionally courteous staff, charming decor, clean rooms. A wonderful stay! However I would like to note that the lobby smelled of grease/fast food, likely due to the breakfast burrito spot’s doors opening directly into the hotel.

The beds are exceptionally comfortable and clean, and the breakfast offers delightful variety. The friendly staff ensures a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Riu Plaza in Manhattan for a wonderful stay.

We had doctor appointments early at UCLA and decided to spend the night at W. The folks were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired. We had a room that was updated to a junior suite. The snacks and wet bar was good. The bathroom products can not be better. Davines from Italy. The bed was comfy too. The real problem is the air quality... The HVAC system is very tired. There are two zones. I used clorex wipes to clean the intake and outtake vents. I had to use several sheets. And they still need a lot of work. The windows have wooden shutters. They are very dusty too... Overall the W worked out for our trip. But I'm not sure we can stay there. With my wife's asthma and my allergies was quite a challenge... This was hard to write because the staff was so nice🙏🙏🙏 All the best Burton

It’s kinda dirty, the elevator floor is so sticky that you think maybe they didn’t clean the floor, they need to add more lights since everything is too dark

This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location for us. Rooms are consistently comfortable and clean.

Facilities need work, staff is very good but cost of daily amenities exorbitant.

The hotel was quaint and quiet. Had the amenities we wanted for our stay. The virtual check in was quick and painless.

Even though they say 24x7 check in, the front desk is closed for hours at a time everyday. I travelled for 6 hours and met someone else who had travelled for 14 hours and both of us had to wait for an hour to check in. The front desk was also closed the next morning when I had a question to ask

Parking issues: Was told the parking at the hotel was $17 a day to save a space, but that they did had “free” parking at the motel next door “budget in” so we parked there. The next morning was told by the front office guy to move my car or ir will be towed, we told him we were autorized to park there and he did not take it well, we finally had to move and park on the street.
