Good overall, but not the 5-star experience advertised. We stayed for just under a week in the off-season and enjoyed the warm weather, clean private beach, and pool. The location is great, with easy access to sights, a supermarket and bus stop right outside, and free parking for our rental car. Outdoor areas are spacious with beautiful views, and staff were generally kind, though professionalism varied. The manager followed up on our concerns and offered complimentary bubbles and fruit, which was appreciated. The interiors were the biggest disappointment. Our room was large and clean but very outdated, with a basic bathroom and plumbing issues that required repair. Upholstery around the property is old and worn, the spa area felt dingy and smelled unpleasant, and the indoor bar had the same issue. Food was average. Vegetarian options were limited, and some cheeses tasted freezer-burned. Drinks were overpriced, though the dinner buffet offered good value. The resort provides many activities and feels ideal for families, groups, and retirees who return often.
