As soon as I walk in, I realize I can eat off this floor right now. That's how clean this place is. And I was like, d*** this place. This place smells so good. Holy man, look how bougie this place is man. All the lights have dimmer switches. The view is amazing Love the hot tub, but the black flies were brutal. They'll get you.\n But had a wonderful stay and will be back. The black won't bother you after Like 9 or 10 o'clock. And iwas like damn look at the shower head that's crazy.

I wish we had a tae kettle and some coffee in our room . But aside from that the room was beautiful clean and the bed was like a cloud . The pool was chaos with kids barrling down the water slide right on top of other guests without waiting and following safety measures and the parents were doing nothing . The bar had a screaming baby being tended to a father who was holding his beer and the kids were allowed to stay in the bar area well past 1am. I loved my stay and the hotel and staff were amazing . I just wish someone had of stepped up and made those family's follow the rules. There was even a kid who was running the halls kicking signs over and being destructive. It could have been a 5 star stay if someone had been regulating the activity . Fault is on those parents really more then anything.

Hotel is well situated at the harbour front, with numerous restaurants nearby. It’s within walking distance to downtown Halifax and the citadel. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed.

The property is dated. Had problems finding a plug in for my laptop and a place to charge our phones. Breakfast was included with our room charge and they kept running out of various breakfast items. First 2 days was Mushrooms and Eggs Benedict; at another point they started substituting french fries without prior notice for Breakfast potatoes and then hashbrowns at another point. They would forget to include items, toast was always unbuttered.
