Lovely place. Had all the right things.

Good location close to the airport.

A lovely large property with heaps of space to spread out. Designed for six we only had three so ooooooodles of space. Clothes washing facilities cam in handy and parking onsite was welcome. Plus the proximity to the GF bakery was a bonus.

Our stay at this accommodation was exceptionally wonderful. The property itself was absolutely beautiful—timeless, elegant, and truly a special place to relax and unwind. Every detail contributed to a memorable experience, and we had such a great stay from beginning to end. A special mention must go to Philip, who was simply amazing. He attended to all of our needs with genuine warmth and care, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. In the evening, he made us drinks and desserts by the fire. To make our visit even more special, Philip surprised us with a beautiful birthday treat to celebrate my husband's birthday. The next morning, he greeted us with a delicious breakfast, and his company was so warm, embracing, and enjoyable. His hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We will absolutely be returning to this beautiful accommodation and look forward to experiencing its charm and elegance again in the future.

Loved this hotel! The location is fantastic, the rooms are interesting and the artwork is like your own private live in gallery. Will definitely visit again.

Great location, well appointed, clean comfortable and great price

The personnel touches were outstanding. Transportation close. It had all that you needed and then some

Charming retreat close to everything. We had a great short stay here and would definitely come again. The room was very comfortable (especially the heated tiles in the ensuite) and the whole building itself and the grounds were beautiful. Lovely breakfast including their in-house apricot jam.

Great location, room was clean, spacious and just what was needed

We stayed for a few nights at Balmoral on York, in a Premier Queen Room. Room was okay - slightly outdated but clean, and comfortably sized. You can open the window which is handy for fresh air circulation, but there is no flyscreen. Location wise is really great. Very close to city centre - walking distance to the shops, restaurants and bars. Free parking space is a fantastic added bonus - there were plenty when we were there. Breakfast (we had continental breakfast included) was okay - simple but plentiful and good variety of choices. Staff is pretty good - although it seems there was only one person attending to breakfast and front desk (assumed maybe because it was winter). Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
