The outdoor swimming pool was absolutely amazing and very relaxing in the warm Barcelona evening. The only problem was I closed at 9 o’clock and we wanted to stay in the water and enjoy it until midnight.

Breakfast staff (really just the woman who greets you for breakfast to check if you’ve paid) were rude, terse, and acted like you being there was a massive inconvenience. She also barks at the other staff and made getting breakfast at this hotel very unpleasant. The hotel itself nickels and dimes you for every little service, including luggage storage, baby crib, beach towel rental, local fees, etc. so the final price for 3 nights was well over €1500, bad value and the location is very annoying. Do not recommend. Not worth staying on La Rambla if you are a tourist with family.
