Clean room, staff were great.

Perfect apartment for a short stay in townsville

The location was great . The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on avoid level 2 room 8 . It was as hard as a rock , perhaps reception could have mattress toppers on hand should you need it which would have made all the difference from a good stay to a great stay .

I was a late arrival and the gentleman that assisted me was a very welcoming man, after a long drive into town coming to the hotel to meet such wonderful person to assist me was amazing.

This great hotel adjoins the City Arcade, with Woolworths, a chemist, hairdresser, bottleshop and other shops. Very close to everything in the city centre. The temperaturewas kept perfect by the airconditioner. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Slept the best in ages.

Nice just a pain to take luggage upstairs but great place.

Our 5 night stay was great we have stayed here before basically has everything under the one roof if you are looking to totally relax , Great food bar & pool staff were polite & friendly !!!!

The overall stay was fine and staff were friendly, but our cabin’s floor was clearly not swept and pretty dirty. Luckily they provided a broom for us to clean it ourselves. They advertised WiFi, but the WiFi only worked at our cabin about half our five day stay. Other than that, the bed was good, shower was nice, and provided amenities were all good.

I have used the Holburn previously many times over the past 10 years. That is why I booked there this trip. I was really disappointed. The property is now very tired looking and in need of a complete refurbishment. My apartment had many cockroaches running around the unit so I had no choice but to put all food etc in the fridge at all times. Thank goodness there were cafes and eateries nearby. The reception staff seemed to keep strange irregular hours, so connecting with them was difficult. Also, read their cancellation policy. They do not refund. Overall, I would not stay there again as it wasn't a pleasant stay.
