IRA is the best part of this hotel!! The WiFi was spotty but the place is beautiful and well located. The new supper club is insanely gorgeous!! And the gym!!!!!

Everything was great

Our room was two double beds was tiny, and sparsely decorated, but it was quite functional. The beds were very comfortable and the air-conditioning was easy to balance. Our bathroom also was small but functional. The bathroom was a little bit more dated, and some of the caulking clearly had been rushed, but it was very clean and our room was very clean as well. We found the staff very helpful and lovely. We only had housekeeping requested one of our three days there but they did an excellent job and when we passed them in the hall, staff was very friendly. The downstairs lobby had plenty of seating and places to relax that were bigger than the guest rooms but the seating there could’ve used a good shampooing. Also, the location of the hotel is fantastic… Right on 47th between six and seventh, we were able to walk to the Central Park zoo, the two subways we needed both to go uptown in downtown or right at the end of the block (and then just one block over for the other.) Plus, we walk to our Broadway show so easily. Dunkin’ Donuts is across the street for your morning coffee cause there are no amenities like that, and no fridge in the room, etc.. the carry-on suitcases fit under the bed for storage… That’s how tiny the room was, but that was fine for us. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good value for the price so I would recommend it.

The bed was so comfortable. Easy beautiful sleep every night. The shower was amazing too. These little things that can make a big difference! Also great location if you need to be close to Grand Central.
