Still in the process of new owners taking over, so for example can’t accept Amex yet. Most things remain the same - lots of opportunities for new owners to improve, from a fairly average spa with only a few jets working for 3 minutes at a time, to noisy rooms with average aircon. Breakfast very overpriced and omelettes especially poor.

Great hotel, but the room was a little aged.

Parking available onsite, room was clean and as pictired on walk to cuba st.

Clean, comfortable room. Reasonable price compared to most hotels right at the airport. Very convenient

Wow!! Our stay at the Sofitel exceeded expectations! We have stayed at quite a few different ones around NZ and we have to say that the Sofitel is in a league of its own! The staff were amazing and couldn’t help us enough. We were only there for one night but we didn’t want to leave - we will be back. Absolutely worth it. Close to lampton quay too so very central.

Great location in heart of Wellington CBD, a few steps from cable car providing easy access to Zealandia and Botanical Garden. Courteous and friendly staff.
