Apennine Mountains Scuba Diving Holidays

Unfortunately, our stay was a very disappointing experience from beginning to end. The property did not meet the standards we expected, and the overall experience was nothing like what was advertised. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed several issues with the property and felt uncomfortable staying there. The condition of the accommodation was disappointing, and there were concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall quality of the room. The property did not feel properly prepared for guests. Communication and customer service were also frustrating. We expected the staff/management to be responsive and helpful when concerns were brought to their attention, but the situation was not handled in a way that made us feel valued as guests. Ultimately, we decided that the best option was to leave and find alternative accommodations rather than continue our stay. For the price we paid, the experience was completely unacceptable. I would strongly recommend that future guests carefully consider other options before booking. Based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend this property to others.

Let’s be honest, Luxury in Italy doesn’t necessarily mean the same as it does in the US. This is a top price hotel near the airport but the room is small (the bathroom by scale is large). Lots of upcharges and not many options for food or drinks. Breakfast was expensive but a nice buffet. The thing everyone complains about regarding everyone in white robes was true (and cultish!). There are lot’s of non-hotel guests on the property to use the spas. We didn’t use the spas as we were only staying to fly out the next day. Getting there from airport is onerous - a 25 Euro taxi (1.8 mile trip) or an 8 Euro shuttle (per person), but no help in arranging. If you call the hotel they’ll make you call the shuttle yourself from the airport (and yet they can make the return reservation for you). I think what separates true luxury is “service” and this place does not bend over backwards for guests. Staff seems small and not concerned with the “details” that make true luxury. 4-star at best.

Amazing location and 5 star service. Cold towels upon arrival on a hot day after a long flight was so lovely. In Italy the rooms are usually tight. These rooms are huge ! Amazing bathroom too
